What kind of food do you like best for your Australian Cattle Dog?

Zip is a couple days shy of 6 weeks old and she is currently on Purina Puppy Chow…but I've convinced my friend into upgrading her diet.  He wants to feed Blackwood and I prefer Natural Balance.

Hi Sandra,

We just took our Blue Heeler to the vet for his yearly check up last month.  When we walked in and was getting ready to see the vet the secretary could not believe that he over 10 years old.  She said what ever you are doing it, keep doing it.  He still looks like a puppy.

 

In saying that we have always just gone with a mostly strict dry dog food diet.  We rarely bought the meat in the can or anything like that.  

We just bought the store brand dry dog food which has done him quite well over the years.Embarassed
